The authors are lifelong natives of New Hampshire, high school sweethearts whose journey together began at a young age. As teenagers, they faced the challenges of early parenthood, raising 4 children while navigating the trials of life.

Dereks mother sells his childhood home, leaving behind more than memories. well also keeping hold of an original deed for a parcel of land located on the western side of the road and seen as a triangular lot. As stated in the deed, it was part of the original Homestead Lot.
Well expecting there first child Derek & Kassy only kids them selves 17 &18. Came back to that tract of land. Where Derek built them more than just a house, this became home to the place they grew into as there family did.
The neighbors push of a boundary line adjustment, instantly put through by the town got Derek looking at the land with a different eye, although he had always known deep down there was more, Kassy then started digging into the deeds more and found more issues then she imagined.
